Love of the Prophet ﷺ is a part of faith.
The Quran says:
> Qul in kana aba'ukum wa abna'ukum wa ikhwanukum wa azwajukum wa ashiratukum wa amwalun iqtaraftumuha wa tijaratun takhshawna kasadaha wa masakinu tardawnaha ahabba ilaykum minAllahi wa Rasulihi wa jihadun fi sabilihi fatarabbasoo hatta ya'tiyAllahu bi amrihi (At-Tawbah: 24)
That is, if your children, family, and wealth are more beloved to you than Allah and His Messenger ﷺ, then wait for Allah's decision.
The Prophet ﷺ said:
> "None of you is a complete believer until I am more beloved to him than his father, his children, and all people." (Bukhari and Muslim)
What is the love of the Prophet ﷺ?
The love of the Prophet ﷺ is not just a claim made with the tongue, but it is the name of obedience, following, and acting upon the Sunnah. The history of the world is a witness that the love of the Messenger ﷺ is the heartbeat of Muslims, the essence of faith, the light of the universe, and the standard of a person's faith is that he loves his Prophet ﷺ more than anything else.
That is why every Muslim, no matter what language or region he belongs to, says with full conviction and religious zeal:
"I Love Muhammad ﷺ"
These are not just words, this is a testimony of faith, this is a song of love, this is a declaration of loyalty, this is the purpose of our life!
Alas! Today, on the land of Uttar Pradesh, this sacred voice has been made a crime. Young people who say "I Love Muhammad ﷺ" are being handcuffed, and innocent people are being pushed into jail cells.
O claimants of justice! Tell me:
Is love of the Messenger ﷺ a crime?
Is expressing love for your Prophet ﷺ terrorism?
Isn't this the same constitution that gives freedom to every religion?
Then why are locks being placed on the tongues of Muslims? Why is there an attempt to imprison the love that is the heartbeat?
This double standard is nothing but a slap in the face of justice.
When another class expresses its religious sentiments, it is called freedom, culture, and tradition. But when a Muslim says "I Love Muhammad ﷺ," which is the foundation of his faith, it is considered a crime.
This double standard is actually a black mark on the face of justice and constitutional equality.
Expressing love for the Messenger ﷺ is the right of every Muslim. If a Muslim says "I Love Muhammad ﷺ," then he is expressing the essence of his faith. This is not a crime but a pride.
The Constitution of India gives every citizen the right to religious freedom. Article 25 clearly states that every person has the right to practice and express his religion according to his will.
Then the question is, against which law is it to say "I Love Muhammad ﷺ"? Is expressing devotion sectarianism?
Remember! Even if the enemy imprisons your body, silences your tongues, then your heart, your blood, and your every breath will cry out:
"I Love Muhammad ﷺ"
This love is not stopped by the walls of the jail, nor is it suppressed by the batons of the police, nor can the storms of oppression extinguish it.
Our Prophet ﷺ endured oppression in Mecca with patience, adopted wisdom, and subdued enemies with morality. Today, the conditions in UP demand the same patience and wisdom from us:
Raise your voice but with peace.
Defend your rights but within the bounds of the law.
Make your character so bright that the world sees: Muslims are not just speakers but those who live "I Love Muhammad ﷺ".
Love of the Messenger ﷺ is our greatest strength.
This is the sword that cuts off oppression,
This is the shield that protects faith,
This is the lamp that removes darkness.
O Muslims!
May "I Love Muhammad ﷺ" be high on your tongue,
May the warmth of the love of the Messenger ﷺ be in your heart,
May the light of the life of the Messenger ﷺ be in your character,
Then no power in the world can bring you down.
O people of UP!
Arrests cannot weaken you. This is the oppression of time, it will pass. But the candle of the love of Muhammad ﷺ that is burning in your hearts cannot be extinguished.
Arise! Revive this slogan through your actions, your education, your moral strength, and your unity.
Let the world see that when a Muslim says "I Love Muhammad ﷺ", it is not just words, but a message of life and a declaration of faith.
The love of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ is more precious than our lives. Those who impose restrictions on this love do not understand that a Muslim can give his life but cannot remove the love of the Messenger ﷺ from his heart. If we combine this love with character, unity, and knowledge, then this love will become the key to our progress, the means of salvation, and the crown of honor for us. Amen, O Lord of the Worlds.
