Tahajjud: Faithfulness to Allah...
Tatajafa junubuhum 'anil madaji'i yad'una rabbahum khawfan wa tama'an wa mimma razaqnahum yunfiqun.
In this verse, my Lord is praising those who wake up for Tahajjud, talk to their Lord, cry before Him, place their heads in prostration. Allah is pleased to see them.
Tahajjud is a silent connection between Allah and His servant, when the servant converses with his Lord. It is the time when the whole world is asleep, only he wakes up whom the Lord wills to wake up. To wake up at this time, to talk to your Lord, to tell Him everything, at this time there will be no one to bother you, to call you, no voices of people, no noise, no work, just the servant and his Lord. What a peaceful moment it is when the Lord is attentive and says, "Ask, my servant, what do you ask?"
The example of the one who prays Tahajjud is like a bulb that shines in the darkness. Similarly, those who pray Tahajjud are like that shining bulb among the people sleeping around them.
Allah is pleased that my servant did not give preference to rest. These are my beloved servants who become unfaithful to their beds. The body aches, sleep comes, but they wake themselves up, wash their faces, spread the prayer mat, and stand up. My Lord is pleased to see them. What peace there is at that time, only the servant and his Lord, and the servant's whispers.
What to talk to the Lord in solitude, with peace. Tahajjud is faithfulness to Allah. My Lord praises those who wake up at night.
Make Tahajjud a part of your life, because the worship of youth creates such relationships of love with Allah that only end when breaths break. This world is very colorful and the heart is very weak. Lost in its colors, one forgets Allah.
Loneliness is what brings us closer to Allah. Do not be afraid of people leaving you. When there is no one with you, the heart itself begins to turn towards Allah. We ourselves start sharing our things with Allah. Those tears that are held back all day tell their story to Allah at night. Therefore, do not feel alone. Allah is there, He is the peace of your loneliness.
Tears of repentance flow in lonely prostrations,
These are the stories of faithfulness, these are the signs of love.
Tahajjud is a beautiful expression of faithfulness to Allah. This worship takes the servant out of the instability of the world and leads him to the eternal love of Allah. The person who makes Tahajjud his habit actually makes a promise of true faithfulness to his Lord.
Whoever rises for You, may he never go empty,
May the ocean of Your mercy embrace him.
